A self-taught artist from Los Angeles County, Bradley Boboc's paintings operate at the intersection of figuration and abstraction. Utilizing a collage-inspired process, his work de-contextualizes form to create rhythmic sequences with a distinct vocabulary drawn from his environment in Central LA.

Streetside mannequins, text fragments and crumbling tiles are all recurrent images in his paintings, and the artist deploys a faded palette to emphasize the effects of age and environment. Isolating these forms from their surroundings highlights their vulnerability and offers the viewer a distant sense of nostalgia, encouraging them to reconsider their own history.
